Episode 072 - Fifteen Minutes with Anjula

Chef Anjula Devi

All right, it’s more like 45 minutes than fifteen, but the point is you’re going to hear from the wonderful Chef Anjula Devi!

Today Anjula shares some wonderful stories about the power of food and tells me about her terrific new cookbook, 15-Minute Indian.

Chef grew up in the UK in a first-generation immigrant family whose experiences in the neighbourhood were not always easy. In our talk, Anjula shares some inspiring stories about how her family used delicious food to educate the neighbours and to build community.

You’ll also hear how health concerns inspired Chef to develop new techniques for cooking delicious Indian classics. We dive into several of these, including Anjula’s one-pot method for preparing quick and healthy meals that still convey the deliciousness of Indian cuisine.

And if all that isn’t enough, you’ll also hear how Anjula has seriously improved the food at the home games of Manchester United!
