Cheftimony Snack: Prenuptial
Today’s quick episode includes snippets from two really fun upcoming interviews but also lets you know that I’m taking a wee break next week for… my wedding! We’re trying to keep the whole celebration as simple as we can, but even so I think there will be enough last-minute details next week to keep me away from the studio. But! I’ll be back with another episode of Cheftimony on Friday, September 20th.
Today you’ll hear quickly from two great guests who will be featured on upcoming episodes. The first is Chef Julian Romero, the Vegas-loving, podcast-hosting guest I’ve mentioned before. I know you’re going to love hearing from Julian, and that’s particularly true if you share the challenges he talks about in today’s episode about cooking for picky kids!
Also on the show today is a look ahead to my talk with Kelcie Jones, Wine Director at Chambar Restaurant in Vancouver. I met with Kelcie earlier this week and had an incredibly fun talk that ranged from the hospitality industry to organic farming in the south of France to some regions in the world I just might be overlooking in my search for great value wines. Kelcie clearly knows her stuff, and I was delighted to learn that someone this knowledgeable shares my joy in opening a $10 bottle of wine to go with a take-out pizza. Keep an eye out for the full interview with Kelcie – I know you’ll want to hear what she has to say.
OK, that’s all until I return after the wedding. Join me now for my last episode as a single podcast host!
