Cheftimony Episode 042 – Culinary Kisses
Today’s virtual interview spans North America from British Columbia to Michigan, and my guest is Chef Angela-Michelle. Chef has a great story, from learning the importance of fresh ingredients as a child on a family farm to spending years as a fashion model, all before starting her cooking and media platform, Culinary Kisses.
Chef started cooking at age six (with her mother a cook and her father a chef, how could she not?) and she started modeling at 12. Angela has recorded her experiences in several books, including From the Catwalk to the Kitchen, a culinary tribute to her grandmother.
These days, Chef conducts virtual cooking classes, collaborates virtually with chefs around the world, and remains keenly interested in travel and the culinary teaching it provides. Chef is also a writer, contributing to Cuisine Noir, a digital publication that explores food and travel.
You’ll hear today that healthy and plant-based cooking are important to Chef, and we spend some time discussing healthy Southern food and vegan soul food. And Chef Angela shares some great insight on how you can improve your own home cooking game. It’s all ahead in today’s episode – join us!
