I’m really excited to continue the vegan theme on Cheftimony. Today, we’re building on last week’s Vegan 1.0 episode with a great talk with Anna Pippus, someone who brings a very impressive résumé in the vegan space and in the food world generally.

Today’s episode started a few months ago at the Annual General Meeting of Growing Chefs, a Vancouver-based charity that sends volunteer chefs into elementary school classes to teach kids about growing and cooking their own food

Since meeting with Jenna and Jacob at the Lone Wolf Bakery in Sechelt for Episode 012 of the show, I’ve had some more really fun discussions.

In the fall of 2017, my now-fiancée and I bought a home in Gibsons, a small town on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Gibsons is still most famous as the setting of The Beachcombers, a Canadian television series that was extremely popular in the 70s and 80s.
